We started this as small company because no one else did. It seems easier to send our children to war, than risk a few dollars on the development of an invention. After trying to get the development going it all came down to the question; who is gonna pay?
It became clear no one was going to make the first move, so it was up to me. Not because I felt I could, but I felt morally obligated to try! I just started talking to people with my idea, asking how this would work, and could that do this?
And it started to come together. Graphene is capable of detecting molecules of explosives up to 6 meters. However small, there was enough energy to make a read out if the molecule landed on the graphene. The semi-conductor industry in the Netherlands was adamant they could relay the detection...
This was all I needed to hear to start kicking sacred cows.
We now have a smal team of scientists and companies committed to the development. But we need funding. We have had not one penny from governments so far because this technique is not yet invented???!!!
So it is up to you... You have read this, and it is very easy to just go on about your way. But if you are anything like me... It won't feel right. You can't turn your back on a problem when you could be part of the solution...
